MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
A. General knowledge of inspection equipment.
B. Basic blueprint reading skills.
C. Must be self-motivated, and have the ability to complete assigned tasks/projects with minimum supervision.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
Inspect product quality to insure conformity to all customers and purchase order requirements. Controls and maintain the gage calibration system.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
•Maintain and ensure use of calibrated equipment through the gage calibration system.
•Perform first piece reviews and approvals, for in-process inspections, and final inspections as needed.
•Must be able to read and understand measuring equipment including but not limited to tape measure, micrometers, calipers, height stands, etc.
•Read and interpret blue prints, such as, tolerance, finish, specific symbols, etc. Along with converting and comprehending metric and standard.
•Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee.
•Be able to discuss concerns with applicable manager or engineer and retain that information for future reference.
•Complete First Article Inspection Reports as needed.
•Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.
•Act in professional manner. Be able to talk to customer representative or auditors, and discuss technical information or refer to the appropriate person(s).
•Maintain good attendance.
•Complete and maintain necessary paperwork as required.
•Perform basic troubleshooting as required.
•Perform any other duties, as assigned.

SECONDARY DUTIES:
•Follow all established Plant Safety and Housekeeping rules and regulations.
•Perform preventative maintenance and general housekeeping as required.
•Participate in all process improvements as assigned.
