JOB TITLE: Shipper - Receiver
CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt
DEPARTMENT: Shipping
REPORTS TO: Manager of Administration
SCHEDULE: Day Shift: Mon – Fri, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the daily packaging and shipping of Accutrex products to their customers. He/she will also receive material delivered to Accutrex and route it to the proper person.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Package Accutrex products in a way suitable to ensure undamaged delivery to customers.

2. Properly label shipped goods in accordance with laws, regulations, and customer requirements.

3. Create ASN’s as required by customers.

4. Contact trucking companies to arrange pickups.

5. Enter information on Packing Lists and Bills of Lading to deliver to the correct place, with the correct counts, and correct charges.

6. Contact trucking companies and arrange for credits due to lost or damaged product.

7. Receive material delivered to Accutrex, inspect material for damage, and complete receiving paperwork.

8. Review freight bills for accuracy.

9. Keep meticulous records.

10. Safely and legally operate Company Van and Company Truck. This includes facilitating maintenance on these vehicles.

11. Safely operate a forklift and bridge crane to handle materials.

12. Facilitate work-order paper flow in accordance with ISO quality standards.

13. Keep work area clean and presentable.

14. Perform all other duties assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

2. Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.

3. Some knowledge of and ability to identify fabrication industry metals.

4. Ability to learn or have some working knowledge of trucking rules and regulations.

5. Ability to foster relationships with trucking dispatchers.

6. Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures.

7. Safety conscious behavior.

8. Excellent attendance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Lift, carry, push and or pull 1 – 50 lbs frequently.

2. Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently.

3. Sit, stand and walk for 1 – 10 hours per day.

4. Ability to work in a 55 – 85 degree Fahrenheit work environment.

5. Work in a fast paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, vision protection, steel-toed shoes and other appropriate protective clothing.
