Phillips Staffing raised money for the Society for Human Resource Management Foundation (SHRM) through several events, including the Greenville Society for Human Resource Management (GSHRM) Golf Tournament and the 2011 Spinx Run Fest for charity.

The SHRM Foundation is the non-profit affiliate of SHRM and is a leading funder of HR research grants. The Foundation produces publications and educational resources to assist HR professionals and to advance the HR profession.

Ed Parris, President of Phillips Staffing, presented the check at the December GSHRM meeting to both Teresa Medlin, Chapter President, and to Diane Linhares, SHRM Foundation Committee Chair. Phillips contributed to the Foundation in honor of Judy McJunkin, TTI Benefits Administrator, who is struggling with a serious illness. Doug Newton, Senior Vice President of Human Resources for TTI, represented TTI during the presentation and graciously received the $500 check in her honor.
