Angie Poinder - Spartanburg Branch Manager

Angie Horton-Ponder is the Manager of Phillips Staffing’s Spartanburg office. She is responsible for leading the branch‘s service delivery, operations, business development, marketing, training, and recruitment of branch staff. Angie has more than 24 years of staffing industry experience. Prior to her current position, Angie held various roles with Phillips, from Account Executive to Area Manager and Regional Vice President. She has overseen the growth and development of several markets for Phillips, established Vendor-on-Premise programs for numerous companies, as well as opened new offices within her region. Angie has a strong background in sales, business development, and management in the staffing and recruiting industries.

Angie is a member of the Spartanburg Chamber of Commerce, Greer Chamber of Commerce, and Spartanburg Development Association. During her tenure, she has been a member of Phillips’ President Club since 2000. On a personal level, she enjoys boating, reading, spending quality time with her husband and 2 dogs, and her time both in Spartanburg and at Lake Murray.
